A fascinating listen for women’s history month

As a millennial born in the late 80’s I knew almost nothing about Sandra Day OConnor and relatively little about Ruth Bader Ginsburg before diving into this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot. I found the descriptions of court cases and legal presidents informative but also accessible and understandable.

Oh! The injustice!

Holy. Cow!!! I never thought I would totally “get” where the evil step mother was coming from, but after this retelling, I do! This was another installment of the wonderful villain series, and well worth the read/listen.

Another awesome Dark Star Mercenaries story

Undying Stars is another awesome Dark Star Mercenaries story. It is Jeral’s turn with the mating fever. He is the first division sniper and plays a big role in the overall story of the series told in this book.

I was disappointed with the reader. I definitely prefer the two previous male readers.

Great story, great series, great narration

Electric Heart is a great story. It will make the most sense if you listen to it after reading some of the other books in the series. The series is awesome, there is spice, scary but sexy aliens, drama, conflict and of course happy endings! Jillian Macie is awesome to listen to. She captures the characters well and has a peaceful and soothing voice. I have read this book, listened to it and I am sure I will do both again.

S-l-o-w start, got ok about half way, good ending

Fans of Nightmare Before Christmas will enjoy Sally’s story in Long Live the Pumpkin Queen. The story starts off slow and at the beginning Sally is so unsure of herself and so whiny that I almost gave up on the book. That being said, I loved how it ended. About half way through, the story finally got interesting and we got a look at Sally’s past, she gains some confidence and starts acting like the Sally from the movie. The narrator really tried to sound like Sally from the movie, but talked so slow and was too whiny for my taste. Speeding up the reading speed helped a little.

Yes, A Dance with the Fae Prince is just that good. I read it in n Kindle Unlimited earlier this year and just finished listening to the audible version. The narrator was fabulous, her voice fit this story perfectly.

A Joy to Read

A Deal with the Elf King is an enchanting stand alone fantasy romance story in a magical world created by Elise Kova. Luella, the Human Queen is the narrator and main character is easy to love. She is driven, kind, confident and so smart. This story contains some mild spice between husband and wife that is very tasteful. I can’t recommend this book enough! The audiobook was a pleasure to listen to, I especially enjoyed the voices Elizabeth Evans created for each character.

Incredible Ending

This book is intense! It is the perfect (happy) ending to the Vortex Chronicles series. I laughed, I cried sad and happy tears, and I enjoyed every word! It has been a couple weeks and I am still thinking about this story and how perfect the ending is.

A must read for fans of the Air Awakens series

Before reading this you should read the Air Awakens series, the Golden Guard Trilogy and the previous Vortex Chronicles books.

With each new Elise Kova book I read she blows my mind even more. The story she has weaved about the Solaris family has a depth that makes these books fascinating to read and impossible to put down,
