Historia
Highlighting the fascinating link between a child’s neurological development and the way a parent reacts to misbehavior, No-Drama Discipline provides an effective, compassionate road map for dealing with tantrums, tensions, and tears - without causing a scene. Defining the true meaning of the “d” word (to instruct, not to shout or reprimand), the authors explain how to reach your child, redirect emotions, and turn a meltdown into an opportunity for growth.

Great book with great examples
Revisado: 02-24-25
We learned so much from this book and its examples. We loved how it taught us to apply its principles and how to think about our kid’s mind. It is very practical but personally, there are situations that we feel we haven’t been able to apply these principles to. A 2 year old kid that is out of control and physically violent is not that simple to connect with and apply these principles to. I wish there were more examples for 2-4 years old. Many of the principles sound great, but are more feasible for a 5 year old kid or older.

Historia
Whether you're sleep deprived with a colicky newborn or navigating the emotional roller coaster of a teenager, parenting has its ups and downs, its confusion and clarity, its big blowups and small victories. And no matter our family makeup or our children's personalities, many of us experience anxiety over our children's futures and often fear making a mistake.

Great book with great practical idea and perspective
Revisado: 02-24-25
We learned so much from this book. Setting the right goal and planning to achieve it is what this book helped us with. I wouldn’t say this is the only book you need for parenting but I believe this is a great book to read and learn from. Everything this book said made sense and provides great guidance. I just wish it would have explained or provided more advice on how practically they disciplined during the first 5 years.

In The Good God, Michael Reeves writes about growing in our enjoyment of God and seeing how God's triune being makes all his ways beautiful. He sees it as a chance to taste and see that the Lord is good, to have our hearts won and ourselves refreshed.
