Lots of New Information In Here--glad I got this
Revisado: 04-28-25
I thought I knew everything about getting great sleep, but this audiobook gave me a whole new perspective. The section on the 90-minute rule was a game-changer—I've been following it, and now I’m waking up feeling so much more refreshed. That tip alone made the audiobook totally worth it!
I also found the Boundaries section super helpful. I practiced some of the scripts for saying "no," and it’s already making a big difference. I feel less anxious about turning people down, which has always been hard for me.
Work-life balance has been a big focus for me lately, even before starting this audiobook, and this gave me some real tools to improve it.
Overall, this is a really valuable book. I highly recommend it to anyone who's feeling burned out!

A Wonderful Introduction to Somatic Therapy
Revisado: 02-05-25
Untie Your Knots is a fantastic introduction to the world of mind-body healing, and the audiobook format makes it an even more immersive and engaging experience. As someone who knew little about somatic therapy before listening, I found this to be a clear, insightful, and practical guide to understanding how our bodies store emotions and how we can release tension, regulate emotions, and even manage chronic pain through somatic practices.
Daphne Morgan’s narration is gentle and kind, making complex concepts feel approachable and easy to absorb. Her soothing voice enhances the experience, making it feel like a personal guided journey through breathwork, movement, sensory awareness, and self-care techniques.
Each chapter offers valuable insights and practical tools, making it a great listen for anyone interested in exploring somatic therapy for the first time. Whether you’re looking to deepen your mind-body connection or simply curious about the topic, this audiobook is an excellent resource. Highly recommend!

The Best ADHD Resource for me so far
Revisado: 01-20-25
About 3 years ago, I self diagnosed my adult female adhd. I'm pretty high-functioning and have many systems already set in place to over compensate for where I come up short (ex. I track ALL my things; keys, wallet, purse, and I use the trackers 5x a day to save me hours of time looking for everything). Still I started researching more about how my brain is different and what I can do to thrive with my differences. I have not found too many good reads to be honest! Other audiobooks I've downloaded use AI voices that I tune out from and the books, I have found, have extremely predictable content. Time Management for Adults with ADHD was a joy to listen to. The voice of the narrator is soothing and articulate. She talks to you like a real friend and it made it easier for my mind to not wander off. The book also provided exercises that I have found to be extremely helpful. The CBT and the decluttering / organizing exercises as well as the chapter on 'time blindness' were my three favorites as those are my problem areas. Anyway I HIGHLY recommend this book. And don't just listen to it, sit down and do the exercises so you get the most out of it!

I learned a lot about myself
Revisado: 12-17-24
This audiobook is a completely different experience if you sit down and do the exercises. I discovered so much about myself. I also appreciate the positive tone of the author because all these behaviors are deplorable. I would think it would be hard to talk to a narcissist without judging them. The narrator did not sound judgy or like they were lecturing you. Love the 54321 strategy.

This book is has great exercises
Revisado: 01-14-24
Instead of just listening to this book, a lot of the Procrastinator's Guide to Productivity is DOING the book. I found the exercises to be really helpful in holding the mirror up to my actions and habits. I recommend listening to the book with a notepad and pencil! I kept stopping the audiobook to look for mine :) but it comes up often enough that you should just have it out when you listen. Great book for people like me that are always working on improving procrastination.
