I have a 16 year old son who has aspirations to possibly become a songwriter. I am passing this recommendation on to him so that he can listen next. I think that he will find it helpful—especially the exercises on how to make writing a daily habit.

I don't know which was worse, the dumbed-down writing of the author or the dull voice of the narrator! Oh, my word! I was just skipping through the chapters hoping to find something of interest. There was a whole section of what you need to go to a laundromat--quarters, clothes basket, your own detergent. Really??? It was all about equally as useless. I am very disappointed.

Would you consider the audio edition of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn: A Signature Performance by Elijah Wood to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version so I can't compare.

The way Elijah Wood switched back and forth between voices was masterful. It completely swept me up in the story and the time period.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I found the character of Huck adorable. He felt that he was doing the wrong thing by helping Jim escape...but the reader knows differently.
