I love Claire’s books and the audible format just brings the story to a new dimension. The characters really do come alive! YES I do enjoy that a male and female read the correct characters. I can picture the snarky expressions in my mind more realistically. Generally, I like audible when I’m hiking or exercising, and Claire’s stories always take me to a place where I forget time and just lose myself in the story. It seems I press play and then before I realize what happened, the story is over. Always well worth the value

You meet someone as sassy as Nora and say “she deserves everything she gets” and does she ever.  In this book, Nora gets what she deserves.  If someone decided to be crazy enough to think single Dad (Dex) wasn’t their glass of martini there is the adorable Riley and she is irresistible. This book has so much…..slow burn romance, child rearing, bullying, non-participatory mother….and Claire handles each thread with humor, class, and a top shelf delivery.  There’s even an over helpful neighbor that you can’t not like.  Circle of trust revelation – I absolutely can’t get enough.  I feel like I need therapy for separation anxiety since this is the final book of this series.

Reality Bleed 2

Writing a gripping story is tough: exceptional character development, creating an interesting plot, engaging the reader, uniqueness etc. Throw in the audible factor and now there are new parameters for success. Most emphatically, J. Z. Foster delivers on all fronts with each story in this series. Tom Taylorson’s voice as the narrator is the perfect choice to raise the hair on your arms and queue the spine tingles and goose bumps. Putting the two together elevates the entire entertainment factor of this series. I can’t wait for the next book.

This is a typical Claire Kingsley book with all the twists and turns all the while laughing oneself silly. I have a handsome nephew named Camden so I was prepared to like this book but I loved it so much that I read it twice. What's better than an awesome book - having a fantastic narrator read the book to you. Sophie is a loveable quirky heroine and all the secondary characters make this book well worth the cost. What entertainment!!!!

When I was a child, my mother would read stories and I miss her sweet soothing voice; BUT my father would take a wild turn and he escalated stories to a new level.  He would exaggerate his expressions, modulate his voice, and make the characters assume a real persona in our imaginations.  The stories came alive!  J.Z. Foster and Justin Woodward have delivered a stellar collection of sci-fi stories with horror, aliens, wonderful characters, and a titillating storyline.  Tom Taylorson took the story to a new level and made it come alive with a voice crafted for action, suspense, and an entire cast of characters.  There were even a few conversations that came across with different nuances so that I had to consult my printed copy because I had missed details. I’ve read and listened to this series three times to date and Reality Bleed continues to be a story that I find hard to put down.
