Historia
Lord Fulgrim – ascended Primarch of the III Legion, the Perfect Son, the Emperor-in-Waiting – has issued a challenge to his scattered warriors: vanquish the Imperial world of Crucible, and bring him the head of the Black Templar charged with its defence. But Fulgrim’s plans go far beyond the conquest of a single planet, and what should have been a swift and bloody offensive turns into a gruelling siege. With success uncertain, a world in flames around them, and the Legion turning their weapons inwards as well as out, the would-be champions are forced to confront a bitter truth.

Great voice work, ok story
Revisado: 04-29-25
Story was ok but I really don't see what the point of it was. Didn't advance the setting in any way that I could gather but I don't think that was Jude's fault. Would have been better as just an EC story instead of a Primarch release book. Felt like GW wanted to do the release of Fulgrim and EC so they had Jude write something that didn't affect anything other than saying Fulgrim gathered his legion. Really confusing. I will say that I hope they let Jude work on a Fulgrim novel that ties in with Guilliman and The Lion because she did write him and the EC wonderfully.
I'll be really disappointed if this is how they handle future Primarch returns. They did Guilliman and The Lion well, but, if this is how they're going to do it from here on out, then it's going to be a really long few years.
Narration was phenomenal, though. Fulgrim sounded absolutely fantastic.

Historia
The fortress world of Regium has a proud history, For millennia, it has endured when others have fallen to ruin and damnation, standing defiant in defence of the Imperium of Man. But now it is shaken. Parasitic plagues run rampant, and Regium's citizens are haunted by dreams of horrific monsters feasting upon their flesh and marrow. Lieutenant Castamon of the Ultramarines recognises these signs of an impending Tyranid invasion all too well. Rallying his warriors, the battle-hardened veteran launches a strike force to slaughter the xenos in the outer system, before it can reach Regium.

Story is ok from what i could gather. Terrible narration
Revisado: 04-02-25
i don't say this often but this narrator was terrible. I don't know if he just doesn't know the universe or what but his voices for humans and astartes was horrendous. I couldn't get through the whole thing. I hope the best for him in the future but this was not good. I don't know about the story as I couldn't get over the narration to complete it. From what little I got it seemed decent.

On a world that is home to a unique artefact, bands of Chaos Space Marines battle for the right to claim it. But the arrival of the infamous Khârn the Betrayer changes the balance of power…The forces of Chaos fight amongst themselves, with the Blood God's chosen warrior slap bang in the middle. It’s probably not going to end well for anyone whose name isn't Khârn…

Decent Story, Terrible Narrator
Revisado: 09-04-24
Narrator made it difficult to listen to. Every Astartes sounded like a mustache twirling magician. I don't think he knows 40k lore too well with how he was pronouncing things. Story was good. Alpha Legion was cool. It was nice seeing how the different legions interacted with eachother.

Historia
On the prison world of Zartak, darkness has fallen on arbitrators and inmates alike. The Night Lords have come, bringing with them the shadow of fear and pain. But these monsters are not the only ones with an interest in Zartak. From the void, running on silent, another fleet emerges. These Space Marine warriors are grey-clad and white-faced, and their eyes are as black as the Outer Dark – the savage Carcharodon Astra.

Not sure why this gets good ratings
Revisado: 08-06-24
After listening to this you'd think a claw of Night Lords could take out Big E on their own. I guess just because people are desperate for Carcharadon lore they boost the ratings. If Shogu wasn't narrating this would have been the purchase I regretted the most in all of my Black Library collection. Glad other people enjoyed it, I certainly wasn't one of them.

Historia
Cadia licks its wounds in the wake of the Thirteenth Black Crusade. The heretic forces retreat on all fronts. The day is won. But Lord Castellan Creed cannot rest easy. Something tells him the assault was a mere prelude to something greater, something more final. He is right. Out of the Eye of Terror comes Abaddon the Despoiler, at the head of a warhost unmatched in scale since the dread days of the Horus Heresy.

Abysmal Narration
Revisado: 12-10-23
The little I was able to actually retain was great. The narrator completely ruined this book for me. Constantly distracted me with how bad the voices were. Probably a great narrator for non fiction reference books but his character voices were absolutely terrible. I hope they get another narrator and redo it. Sorry to be so harsh but it really ruined my experience. Hope he gets better and does well in the future but this was butchery.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Characters and narration were great. I just wish she wouldn't whisper when the characters are supposed to be yelling. It's like she didn't want to wake her neighbor in the flat next door while she was recording. lol

Give Shogo more work!
Raven Guard and Scars were portrayed very well. Shrike and Kor'Sarro are badass bros. I'm not sure how the Scout Sergeant was able to move so well with his massive set of stones. He definitely needed a water heater for the toilet when he used it so his unit didn't get cold.
Also, give Shogo more work!

Keeble knocked it out of the park like always. Great book all around. I laughed out loud a few times from the Wolves banter. The way the old man running faster than the charging army because of the younger one breaking something was written had me almost in tears.
