Blissful and timely!
Revisado: 02-22-25
Every book introduces a new issue that was relevant at that time in history and is still relevant today! The writing is well researched and beautifully written! I’d like to mention the special topic but I don’t want to spoil it for the reader!
I’m so in love with these characters and their way of thinking!

Historia
To the wider world, Al Pacino exploded onto the scene like a supernova. He landed his first leading role, in The Panic in Needle Park, in 1971, and by 1975, he had starred in four movies—The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon—that were not just successes but landmarks in the history of film. Those performances became legendary and changed his life forever. Not since Marlon Brando and James Dean in the late 1950s had an actor landed in the culture with such force.

Fascinating listen!
Revisado: 10-23-24
Al Pacino absolutely captivated my attention in “The Scent of a Woman” when he told her she was “fascinating”. I longed to hear that from my lover my whole life. I finally did hear it from a man I instantly knew was a soul mate.
I love that he told the story himself. I felt like he was talking to me and I immensely enjoyed his vulnerability and full disclosure. I know it was only a grain of sand compared to his entire life but what a fabulous ride!

Such a treat to be invited to float in euphoria just by listening!
Revisado: 12-06-22
I was recovering from a terrible horse accident and was non-ambulatory. Laying still was my only comfort. Listening to the reader’s voice and the story line transported me to a euphoric state of mind. Great adventure!
