Tempted to give up? Here's how to keep going. If you browse through the interviews with some of the most successful people on Earth, you'll find one common piece of advice shared by virtually all of them: They never give up on their big goals. Research shows that grit is a better predictor for success than any other factor. The ability to keep going despite setbacks is more important than your IQ, character, or external factors like your upbringing or surroundings.

Never Gonna Give You Up
Revisado: 10-30-19
This is just the audio I needed to hear right now. I'm in the phase of my life where I could go on with my current path or choose a different one. I like the fact that there's a chapter where he discusses the option of giving up in case we feel we should really do. The most useful part for me is when I learned the relation of low-esteem and the realization of our goals. In addition he also gives a suggestion to ovecome that hurdle. There's also a part where different authors give their views about the topic, I find that part interesting. So how did it go for me? I decided to continue on my current path. Listening to audio book definitely gave me new insights.

It puts fat loss in perspective for me.
Revisado: 10-28-19
I'm the type of person that in order for a diet to work I got to all-or-nothing. I didn't really believe that moderate approaches works for me. This audio had introduce me to new perspectives that I haven't considered before. Usually the gurus says that fat loss is easy. Just exercise more and eight less right? What they don't usually cover is the psychological perspective needed to make diets work and to make them more sustainable. This audio also helped me remove limiting and incorrect beliefs about dieting.

Historia
The world wants to sell us the idea that all we need to succeed is one lucky event. One lucky event and your dreams come true, your problems are forever solved, and everything is perfect. But life doesn’t work that way. Those who expect an overnight revolution in their lives end up right back where they started - bitter and angry at the merciless world that placed so many obstacles on their path to a better life. If you wish to make your dreams come true, instead of hoping for a revolution, prepare for an evolution - an arduous but fruitful everyday process of self-improvement.

Make change that is sustainable for the long run
Revisado: 08-15-19
The ideas presented by the author here are for people who are serious at improving their lives. A lot of self-help books and gurus out there offer the easy stuff, though they may work in the short run, they're not usually sustainable or good for us in the long term. I feel that if taken to heart and action is employed, the author's advice will help us evolve no matter what stage we are into our lives. And it's the kind of change that can make us feel fulffilled because it's for the long run.

Practical and useful audio...
Revisado: 06-03-19
Another great audio/book that can help people live simpler, better lives. The appeal of this audio is its practicality and actionability. It's a contrast to other self-help material that is purely 'feel good' while giving the reader little value per page (or minutes listened to in this case). This audio however will give you something you can implement regardless of the chapter you listen to. It's also based on principles and techniques that is already known to work in the real world.

Do you know that it’s almost impossible to find a successful writer who has published only one book? Virtually every widely acclaimed author has an extensive catalog of books. To join the elite ranks of those who write consistently, you need to learn how to stay prolific over the long term. And for that, the number one ingredient is self-discipline.

Writing Is Difficult But Rewarding!

Fantastic audio for writers
Revisado: 05-29-19
A practical guide to writing from an author that walks the talk. I like that he tells things the way it really is, and keeps his advice practical and actionable. The audio is about being disciplined as a writer, but he also gives tips on how to become a better one. I also like the fact that there is a summary at the end of each chapter. Other authors solely rely on their readers to take notes. That is very kind of him to provide a summary that we can go back to each time we like to refresh on the material. If you're a writer or is thinking of becoming one seriously, listening to this audio will be surely worth it.

Time is your most precious commodity - everyone has only so much - so why do you spend it like you have an unlimited supply? How to Have More Time will help you reclaim your time for you, your goals, and your sanity.

Brilliant compilation of ways to have more time!
Revisado: 05-08-19
What a wonderful collection of ways to have more time. What I like about the methods he suggests is that they are focused about the well-being of the individual, unlike other lecturers who only care about results but with disregard for the individual's health.
Although I am a night-owl myself I agree with most of what he have to say, especially about intermittent fasting (it just works). I would definitely listen to this audio again to remind myself of these best practices. In the meantime I would like to apply one or more of his suggestions in my daily routines.
