King is at his best with this amazing character. Holly G has become one of my favorite King Heroes. That being said I liked Her from the start in Mr Mercedes but then immediately LOVED Her when Justine Lupe played her on the 3 season TV adaption! Justine has again brought this amazing young lady to life with her top notch narration (I hope she reprises her role as her when this gets made into a mini series). The villains are PERFECT. The book definitely caught the atmosphere of the Covid years though didn't dwell on it. More Holly PLEASE and definitely more Justine as Holly!!!!

The story kick off pretty quick and once you settle into the readers Irish Brogue it’s a great ride. The ending was unexpected and pretty awesome. I’ll definitely try more from this Author.

Worth the listen.

I listen to Audiobooks all day at work and this one though not in the top tier was still worth the listen. The story was good the narration was not bad but a bit over the top on occasion. It was good enough that I will invest in the next book in the series in a few months after I listen to others in my library.

I remember reading this great Invasion book years ago and the Audiobook didn’t disappoint! I remember as I re-read each McCammon book why he is one of my favorite Authors along with Stephen King and Pat Conroy.

Got this for my Travel Partner and I after listening to all the Blah, Blah, Blah on the news channels. I thought it was gonna be Tabloid Garbage but within 20 minutes every bit of it was ringing true with what the American Public has witnessed the past 18 months. Excellent and clear writing. Sends chills down your spine as you hear the backstories to the present chaos...Chilling

This incredible piece of Literature has been read to me by Frank Muller over 10 times the past 18 years...I love it more each time. Pat Conroy was a Genius with the written word. I have been patiently awaiting Audible getting the hard to find Beach Music Frank Muller Narration. If you've never listened to this book trust me and Joyfully Dole out your Credit for this masterpiece and prepare to be deeply affected.
