I really the whole series. Good story line that kept me hooked.
I must say that the narration of first book drove me batty, but through out the next two books, I realized how amazing Gabra's ability was. Each character was thier own and you knew who was "speaking" before being told. And you felt everything each character was feeling just by the tone of het voice. Wonderful job!

Good Story Line - so so narration

After listening to the authors Soul Screamers series and thoroughly enjoying it, I was looking forward to another great series. The story line was good. It kept me interested. However, the intonation of the narrator drive me crazy. Almost every line ended in a high note. This made me feel like there was no feeling in the characters statements. If the story had not been interesting enough for me to want to continue, I would have stopped after the first chapter. I really want to finish the series, but I may have to just read them instead.
Started the second book and the narration is much better. Only an occasional hint of the intonation issue. I am really enjoying the series now.
