A great adaptation of the story. Miriam as the Ghost of Christmas Present was unexpected but she did a good job. Derek Jacobi did an awesome narration.

A nice Iron Man story in awesome Graphic Audio quality. It's not a particularly captivating story, the energy feels low like there's no great risk or sense of urgency during the story but it's still an entertaining performance. Great for listening while driving or cleaning.

Decent smut, poor production choice

Had to stop listening around Chapter 4/5. As far as the story goes, it's decent for smut. However, even though this production has TWO voices, you only ever get ONE at a time. I was expecting them to voice the male & female main characters in dialogue together, similar to other audiobooks with multiple voice actors or full-cast, but instead you get Heather Firth voicing the male during her times narrating the female POV, and Thomas Locklear voicing the female during the male POV. It's a bit off-putting and distracting. At that point, why even bother hiring two voices? Just have Heather Firth read the whole book, she did most of it anyways.

This one is full of ACTION!

Loved it! Unlike the last three books that had time skips, this story all takes place within a couple days. There are several fights so it feels like listening to an action movie, sort of like the 2012 Avengers (*wink wink*).

Of course the best part of this book goes to Frankie who gets to be a Disney princess for a little while.

Much better than the last book!

This book was much better, especially without the audio flubs the last one had. The story was more organized and interesting but the ending felt a little sudden like they ran out of time and threw in a last minute shootout to tie off some plots. As usual Frankie is the MVP of the story and overall it's a good book.

A good sequel but...

Really LOVED the first book but this one falls a little flat story-wise. Where the first book slowly introduced characters and supernatural elements, this one seems to do the opposite by throwing several different things together all at once. The result is a complete mess with the plot scattered all over the place. The main story has to do with mysterious poisonings, but on top of trying to figure out the poisonings, Tony has to deal with trolls, demons, witches, a priest, a wizard, a were-beagle, a love interest, a new puppy, rival detective, pixies, the seelie and unseelie queens and their courts, etc...In a 5 hour story. It does mostly tie up in the end and the character interactions are entertaining, especially with Frankie the MVP. The recording itself also isn't the best quality since there are a couple places where the audio overlaps. At first I thought it was intentional as characters talking over each other but the 2nd and 3rd times it happened, you can tell something got edited wrong.

Very well written and performed! it's a typical detective mystery with a supernatural twist and has just the right amount of humor to keep it from being dark and dull. Loved the interactions with Frankie and hope they're in the next book!

Just as amazing as the other books!

I can wait for the final book to conclude the series! The subject matter of the stories in this book are a lot darker than the previous books since they involve not just the regular murders but also rape and drug abuse. It's no less funny and intriguing but damn does it leave you speechless a couple times.
