Second time through, better than the first

This is, as the title of the review implies, my second time through this story. The first time through, I got the major details of the story and very much enjoyed it, though I wouldn’t say that it was my favorite series. I came back after some time, and after having listened to Defiant which - at the time of writing - is the latest in the Songs of Chaos series. Upon a second listening, I let myself engage with the finer details of the story (having already gotten the story once as a whole), and I have to say that it is definitely a greater experience this second time around.
Being the author’s first series (as confessed in the afterword), this series is all the more impressive, and having gone through the - at present - three songs of chaos books, I really appreciate where Miller’s growth has taken him. Can’t wait for new material in either this world or his other worlds.

Phenomenal story with a great narrator

I listened to Dragon Blade and enjoyed it. While it wasn’t my favorite fantasy, it was well written and entertaining. This new story is far superior and is as good or better than the Inheritance cycle of which I am also a huge fan. Listening to Peter Kenny read the story only adds to the experience. I loved him in The Witcher, and I love him here. Amazing story that keeps you guessing and engaged.

This isn’t my first time listening to Fellowship, and it certainly won’t be my last. I’ve loved Tokien’s world, and this audiobook brings it to life perfectly.
