Fascinating story that did not seem too long

I thoroughly enjoyed the book - it is not the tight legal thriller many expect from Grisham, but instead a fascinating story of both small town Mississippi and the resistance fighters in the Philippines, and ultimately of misplaced revenge. I felt it was extremely well written and the audio was excellent. The book’s tragic conclusion reinforces the old adage of Confucius - before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig 2 graves.
