Stories about hospitals always capture my attention.. being one of the people who rarely step out of the hospital, it is easy the forget for every patient there is a story and for every person there is story

The other psychopath

Sociopaths/psychopaths and serial killers had always fascinated me. Perhaps I am a bit of a sociopath myself and thus the fascination. But it is also perhaps thus why I felt something was off about the writer from the beginning.. the preface and his introduction. I do not dwell in psychology but there was just something off.. his adamant claim that his rough childhood did not turn him into a serial killer, his claims of empathy towards convicted serial killers and his claims to further understand them.. which btw I did not encounter in the book. Inconsistency of his claims in between serial killers interviews and discussion.. everythign was just off. So by the second chapter I tried to search about this book and about the writer and i was not delusional... apparently this particular book has been recalled since there were allegations against the author that he had made up his interviews.
It was still a fascinated listen as from then onwards i listen in the intend to read the writer’s mind as in my opinion he is the other sociopath that he himself was trying to figure out while writing his semi fictional book

the story was probably a common one.. but they way it was written was just the right amount of suspense to keep the listeners intrigued. and the performance was just outstanding. really enjoyed this light hearted mystery.

I was a little sceptical when I saw the title and description, but I am glad I heard it. It felt like it was sounding all the things I have in mind about all this gender equality anf how shit ppl treats women. Also the dialogues are just so interesting and quatable

Entertainingly funny and intelligent

Getting this audiobook was the best decision i have ever made. Narrated by Tina Fey herself the book was entertainingly funny and intelligent at the same time. But, don't take my word for it.. after all I am a feminist and a fan of Tina ;)

Intersting diagnosis less exciting story telling

Altho the symptoms and intereating diagnosis made me want to know more, the story telling was not as exciting and it failed to nudge me into listening more.
