Historia
Starr Media Second-Assistant Survival Guide: 1. Don't call your hot boss the Antichrist to his face. 2. Don't stare at hot boss', um, package or his full sleeve of tattoos. (No. Really. Stop!) 3. Don't get on the malicious first assistant's bad side. 4. Don't forget to memorize the 300-page employee manual. 5. If you value your cashmere, steer clear of boss' dog. 6. Boss' dimples are lust-inducing. Do. Not. Give. In. 7. "The elevator ate your clothes" is not a valid excuse for showing up to important meetings half dressed.

Cute but clean
Revisado: 07-05-24
Adorable, but only one 🌶️ it's a fade to black romance which I stick clear of, if it wasn't on the buy one get one free I would be asking for a refund. Definitely NOT what I look for in my romance, but cute and clean if that's what floats your boat.

Historia
As the Seattle Sharks' number one Enforcer, nothing means more to me than hockey. I live and breathe the game. But when my short-temper gets me into one too many late night brawls, coach threatens to bench me if I don't clean up my act. It'll take more than me changing my nightlife habits - the media needs this bad boy to go good. Paige Turner - the gorgeous, off-limits best friend of my bro's fiancee - has the solution. About to take over as acting CEO of her family's multi-billion-dollar corporation, she'll have to sign a morality clause kissing any wild-life she wanted goodbye.

Rory is adorable
Revisado: 11-05-23
Rory was adorable in his bad boy gone good performance, he really was trying to be the guy Paige needed him to be despite his inner demons. Paige felt really stuffy, bull headed and better than though attitude in a lot of ways which pulled away from the story in my opinion, but not so much that you couldn't see them getting together. Lost a star for her being annoying, especially near the end
There were a few mispronounced words, specifically geographic locations, that as a resident of the Pacific Northwest felt like nails on a chalkboard, make sure your narrators can pronounce the locations like the locals you're pretending they are if you're going to choose a location like Washington or Oregon (which IS mispronounced in the story, BTW it's pronounced Ore-E-GUN not Ore-ah-GONE, the state hasn't gone anywhere) - the region is riddled with indigenous names like Puyallup (Pew-wall-up), Willamette (Will-am-it, say it like damn it), and the list goes on. Lost a star for multiple mispronounced words and locations.
Decent mid to mild spice level - pure vanilla with a mild kick, but zero kink

Historia
Done with being the world's biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn't expect was to be sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won't let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of. The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers.

Rapey
Revisado: 07-09-23
Near the end the lead forces themself on the other lead even after being asked to stop more than once. A few chapters earlier the roles were slightly reversed where the other lead was pushy to start kissing but in the scene I'm referring to the lead is told "no" and "stop" on several occasions yet the lead continues to violate the other lead. Ruins the whole story in my opinion. It doesn't matter if in the end it's a HEA. Rape is rape.
I do like the voice actors and the narration style.

Historia
Stella Ricci is bored. Her overprotective family barely let her out of their sight, despite the fact she’s a grown woman. Yes, she loves her job at her family’s café, and she’s the best barista in the entire Monterey Peninsula, but is that enough? She’s thinking no. But what else can she do? Enter Carter Abbott. Burnt out after the never-ending grind of selling high-end real estate in Los Angeles, he’s returned home, unsure of what to do next. He needs someplace to crash temporarily until he gets back on his feet.

Don't waste your time, whiney at best
Revisado: 06-20-23
This is the first book from this author I could not finish. I got part way through chapter 10 and I could not bring myself to torture myself any longer, I should have stopped at chapter one when I heard the whine of the female lead. It does not get any better from there. She has zero growth and she continues to whine and have constant inner monologs about how she hates but wants the male lead the whole time, it gets grating after about the dozenth time in a chapter.
The male lead, while voice acted nicely, his part falls flat due to the book being one dimensional. Really disappointed in this one, hopefully the rest of the series is better and thank goodness I didn't waste a credit for this book.
