I was drawn to the main character…

Being from TN and working with children and young adults like Jessie had me completely engaged from Chapter 1. I enjoy the twists and turns in the authors writing. The setting details and the familiarity of the text made this a book I couldn’t put down.

I had two theories and I believed I was correct based on the descriptive writing from the author, I was wrong. It started a little slow, but once it picked up the twists and turns had me hooked.
