Historia
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

On a warm summer morning in North Carthage, Missouri, it is Nick and Amy Dunne’s fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick’s clever and beautiful wife disappears. Sometimes, we fall in love on mission trips even though we know we’ll break up when we get back. Sometimes, you think, “I wish I had a T-shirt that said ‘I direct deposit my tithe’ so people wouldn’t judge me.” Sometimes, the stuff that comes with faith is funny. This is that stuff. Jonathan Acuff’s Stuff Christians Like is your field guide to all things Christian. You’ll learn the culinary magic of the crock-pot. Think you’ve got a Metro worship leader? Use Acuff’s checklist. Want to avoid a prayer handholding faux pas? Acuff has you covered.

The good news is Start gives listeners practical, actionable insights to be more awesome, more often.

Historia
Americans have built an empire on the idea of “race”, a falsehood that damages us all but falls most heavily on the bodies of Black women and men - bodies exploited through slavery and segregation and, today, threatened, locked up, and murdered out of all proportion. What is it like to inhabit a Black body and find a way to live within it? And how can we all honestly reckon with this fraught history and free ourselves from its burden? Between the World and Me is Ta-Nehisi Coates’ attempt to answer these questions in a letter to his adolescent son.

Audie Award, Humor, 2016. In Furiously Happy, number-one New York Times best-selling author Jenny Lawson explores her lifelong battle with mental illness. A hysterical, ridiculous book about crippling depression and anxiety? That sounds like a terrible idea. But terrible ideas are what Jenny does best.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I've not only recommended this to friends, I've bought several copies for friends that I knew would enjoy it! This is THE funniest book I have ever listened to.I mean 'laugh out loud and everyone around you thinks you're a little nuts because you have your headphones in and you've just heard the most hilarious thing' kinda funny. I was so sad when it ended. This is a book for everyone! BUY THIS NOW!!
What did you like best about this story?
I loved how honest Jenny is about all of her "issues", she's very relatable.
Which scene was your favorite?
Without giving too much away, it when Victor was having a Skype meeting for work. You'll have to read the book to find out what happens.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"Dangerously Funny"
