Same damsel in distress, but with an amazing twist! Really liked this audiobook.
I know I came late to the MacKenzie party, but binge listening twice in a row caught me up on all of the laughs from mixing all of these characters together and baking the into a family. Very good series!

By Far, Best in the Series!

Love Reacher working with former team! Lone randomness of other work quickly wears thin. Go back in time and have more former team missions and brother/brother interaction. Too bad the best book in the series begins with the people he connected with on the deepest level dead. Sure, a couple of books have paid homage to or included an MP, but generally he roams around helping strangers who remain strangers. Please let Reacher make real connections or renew some connections he already has!

Funny, but...

Have followed series through 24 and it's funny, but now it is starting to really bother me no one has dimensions except as related to Stephanie. Three men want Stephanie, but the hilarious sidekick couldn't keep the man who brought more life to her story because of allergies... Really? The same way Tank came by the cat(s) he can get rid of the cat(s). An elderly lady can adopt, he and Lula could get back together and then they would have more depth than a couple of bookmarks. Joe and Ranger, as founding members of the Protect and Support Stephanie Alliance can continue as normal, but Lula, Tank and Connie need more depth or Twenty Five could be the "wrap" on this series for me.

Loved chapter set in Florida and I hope it isn't true he will never see his dad again. Chapter changed story from burned agent seeking truth, where mayhem ensues to a human tale of a son who came by his skills long before being recruited to CIA. Glad his former team provided support so he did not need to kill them. Sad the system if so deeply corrupt he cannot be made whole, so to speak...
