In the narrative and so layered out and graphical to a point where you knew what was going on and you could visually see it.

This book was a very good book. It described how pearl Harbor was a major attack By Japan in World War 2. I loved how it told you his back story. Of being a kid on a farm living paycheck to paycheck with his family and how he met a navy recruiter and that made him decide to join the navy and get on a ship to Hawaii. talked about ship life and how he got to go. Explore The Hawaiian Islands. Is just overall a very good book. I recommend it to anybody.

Historia
Sibert Honor author Deborah Hopkinson brings her signature action-packed narrative style to one of the most crucial battles of WWII. The WWII invasion known as D-Day was the largest military endeavor in history. By June 6, 1944, Hitler and his allies had a strong grip on the European continent, where Nazi Germany was engaged in the mass extermination of the Jewish people. The goal of D-Day was the total defeat of Hitler's regime and the defense of free democracies everywhere. Knowing they had to breach the French coast, the US, Great Britain, and Canada planned for the impossible.

This book is one of the best World War 2 books. I have read. It has so many stories, and so many details of so many people's lives on D-Day and in World War 2 from people on the ground to all the way up to commanders and people prepping for the D-Day. This is a very good book. I recommend this to anybody.
