Historia
Out of options, Ufthak leads his Waaagh! through the mysterious webway, to a place where kunnin’, sneakin’, and thinkin’ are the name of the game. A place with little truck for muscle and brawn – Commorragh, the Dark City. Here, where kabals and haemonculus covens pump psychic viscera into the warp, Ufthak is thrown into gladiatorial combat and soon finds himself up against an archon who will stop at nothing to prove she deserves to rule the Dark City – even if it means bringing Commorragh down around her.

Historia
With only one bastion still standing on the once unconquerable fortress world of Aranua, Warboss Gazrot Goresnappa should be basking in the light of impending victory. Instead, he lies ‘proppa dead’ beneath a decapitated Gargant’s head. The biggest and baddest bosses from each of the six (no-longer-united) clans step forward to duke it out to become the next warboss – but the ork gods have other plans. A prophecy foretells of a mysterious gate that lies beneath the human city. The one true warboss will be the first to find it, and will use it to turn the galaxy green.

Dawn of fire overarching plot meh
Revisado: 01-21-24
overall for the story as a whole it's kind of okay it happened whatever when more of the dawn of fire books are out it's probably one you could outright skip cuz it doesn't seem to do much other than to say oh hey this one guy without doing spoilers got a thing and none of the other parts of the book really matter at all so yeah
Spoilers!!
The entire book could have been summarized in a single paragraph in the next book saying oh hey Tensbris and Yang, got The final piece of that ancient cursed sword they've been assembling.
everything else in this book didn't matter at all only thing it does is show how easily corruption can set in on an imperial vessel which is kind of okay we know that already happens but this is just my opinion of it

Historia
A war-weary Battle Group Praxis arrives at the Knight world of Kamidar, ruled by the Iron Queen Orlah, to return the queen's slain daughter and heir, who died in Guilliman's name. In truth, the Imperium's mission here is twofold: to strip Kamidar of its resources in order to resupply the flagging armada, and to prepare the Ironhold Protectorate to become part of the defensive Anaxian Line, a crucial bulwark for the Indomitus Crusade.

interesting
Revisado: 04-20-23
The contained narrative is okay it's not bad not great it's just kind of there it is but overall it seems like this book was designed to set up a lot of plot hooks and points for later storylines and maybe fill in a little bit of things from the other books.
would suggest not reading it as a solo or in this case listening as a solo book on its own if you not going for the whole dawn of fire series you could probably pass it otherwise there's nothing wrong with it

Historia
Carried by six Sisters of Battle, each the embodiment of a revered saint, the funerary procession known as the Triumph of Saint Katherine marches from world to world, battlefront to battlefront. Where darkness and heresy are rampant, it brings faith, hope and courage to the warriors of the Imperium. Sister Avra of the Order of Our Martyred Lady is honoured beyond measure to battle alongside the sacred procession in defence of the beleaguered world of Kiros. However, this bold young warrior holds a secret shame in her heart, one she believes can only be redeemed in death.

please stop having the narrator sing
Revisado: 04-02-23
it's not so much the fault of the narrator about the singing cuz I have a feeling they were instructed to do it and it's not this isn't the only book I've had play that's had a singing bit in it and it's it's they're always basically just yelling because it's not so much the narrator's forte otherwise they do a perfectly fine job reading the entire novel acting out the characters doing the different voices but can we stop having them sing parts of the book

Historia
Before the being called the Emperor revealed himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Trazyn, a collector of historical oddities, presides over a gallery full of the most dangerous artefacts - and people - of the galactic past. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future.
