This book had lots of twists, turns and laughable moments. Chapter 1 hooked me into listening with only a few breaks as I just had to know what was happening next.

Good But Predictable

I really liked the story line, characters and sound effects. In the beginning, I didn't know where the story was going. However, at a certain point, the story becomes very predictable. Also, I thought the ending would have been more climactic but on the other hand, the door was left open for a sequel.

This novel kept my attention from the first chapter to the last word of the last chapter. The author does a fantastic job of introducing each character. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going, there was a slight twist. It's an engaging story, memorable characters and with the novel based on real people, it really helped to visualize what life may have been like for so many people who didn't have a voice and can't tell their own history. Also, the narrator is outstanding!

The storyline was okay but very predictable with most of it. Also, the main character over analyzing of certain facts and under analyzing of others was extremely aggravating. Additionally, it would have been nice to see more character development from the FBI team. Lastly, it was weird knowing the main character was on a team but not really seeing any teamwork.
