Very good! Body horror fr fr!
Revisado: 03-26-25
It was all great. It was really messed up though! It would be very hard for some people to listen to, so only do this with an open mind and a strong stomach. Body, who for sure 100%.

"No time to delay. Do what you were born to do. Fame will be yours when you do this." These are the words that ring in the mind of mild-mannered, beloved schoolteacher Cora Gundersun - just before she takes her own life, and many others', in a shocking act of carnage. When the disturbing contents of her secret journal are discovered, it seems certain that she must have been insane. But Jane Hawk knows better.

Jane Hawk is awesome!!!
Revisado: 07-22-24
Once again Jane Hawk is kicking butt and taking names! Everything about this was great. I highly recommend this, if you liked the first one. This keeps you on the edge of your seat, all the time. Clear your schedule when you start this one, because you're not going to want to put down the book!

Historia
Ashford, Vermont, might look like your typical sleepy New England college town, but to the shadowy residents who live among the remains of its abandoned mills and factories, it's known as "Burntown". Eva Sandeski, known as "Necco" on the street, has been a part of this underworld for years, ever since the night her father, Miles, drowned in a flood that left her and her mother, Lily, homeless.

Historia
Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.

I didn't know whether I would be able to get into a book about a 70-year-old man lol, being that I am in my middle years and I am a woman it seemed maybe a bit of a stretch. Boy was I wrong, I've read and listened to many Stephen King books and I should have never doubted him. This was wonderful, there are many callbacks and tie-ins to other books by him and by Peter Straub. I highly highly recommend it, a must read.

LOVED THIS!!!!
Revisado: 10-07-22
I really enjoyed this book, there were twists, turns, sentiment, mechs, all the things you look for in a good book LOL. Seriously though, this book was excellent and I would recommend it to those both young and old that are sci-fi book fans. I do not consider myself a superhero book reader, but there is so much more to this book than just the superhero; keep that in mind when you are deciding whether or not to read this and it's sequal. 🙂

Historia
It was a day like any other. Except it was our last.... It’s on this day that Pounce discovers that he is, in fact, disposable. Pounce, a styilsh "nannybot" fashioned in the shape of a plush anthropomorphic tiger, has just found a box in the attic. His box. The box he'd arrived in when he was purchased years earlier, and the box in which he'll be discarded when his human charge, eight-year-old Ezra Reinhart, no longer needs a nanny. As Pounce ponders his suddenly uncertain future, the pieces are falling into place for a robot revolution that will eradicate humankind.
