Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Read a book by it's cover...sometimes
Revisado: 10-19-22
For some reason I thought I was buying a book about facts of the pacific octopus. I guess that's what happens when you only read the cover. This book was heartwarming, very thorough with its characters, and had just the right amount of quirky humor. I was pleasantly surprised with this one and would highly recommend it to others.

Historia
The fallacy sold to many of us is that the penis signals dominance and power. But this wry and penetrating audiobook reveals that in fact nature did not shape the penis - or the human attached to it - to have the upper...hand. Phallacy looks closely at some of nature's more remarkable examples of penises and the many lessons to learn from them. In tracing how we ended up positioning our nondescript penis as a pulsing, awe-inspiring shaft of all masculinity and human dominance, Phallacy also shows what can we do to put that penis back where it belongs.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 07-28-22
I bought this book thinking it would be an insightful look into the world of animal physiology & behavior.
Instead the author frequently bashs men and includes her own opinion way too frequently for my liking.
