Historia
Emma Gavin writes best-selling novels about werewolves, but that doesn't mean she believes in them-and she certainly doesn't think she'll meet one. But that's exactly what happens when her books catch the attention of a rich and powerful pack of Manhattan Weres who have kept their existence hidden for centuries. Alarmed by the accuracy of her novels, they're determined to find out if a renegade is acting as her informant.

An ok read
Revisado: 05-23-13
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Probably not this book, I found it slow in the beginning and then rushed at the end.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
ending seemed a little rushed
Which character – as performed by Abby Craden – was your favorite?
hmmm not sure
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I kind of tuned out in parts
Any additional comments?
Although I wasn't captivated by this book I do love Vicki's "nerd" series so I thought I would give this one a try and I will probably try to read the others in this series just to see if they get better, but I think I will skip purchasing the audio and use my credits on other books.

If you could sum up Ghouls, Ghouls, Ghouls in three words, what would they be?
spooky castle, treasure

gives each of the characters life
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes, I found my self wanting to listen to this book during any free time that I had and finished it quickly only to dowload the next one in the series and listen to that one too.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend that you check out the previous titles in this series. Not because they aren't stand alone books all by themselves but the other books are also really good and you get a little bit more back ground on the characters.

Revisado: 08-09-12
Would you try another book from Richard Davenport-Hines and/or Robin Sachs?
No No and NO
What could Richard Davenport-Hines have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
I have no idea! I couldn't even finish it I kept falling asleep listening to it
What didn’t you like about Robin Sachs’s performance?
he didn't even seem to enjoy the story. He spoke in a monatone voice the entire time making the words just seem to drag on and on.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Just disappointment
Any additional comments?
I would only recommend this book to someone who has a hard time sleeping at night. No medication help needed just plug this in. Don't know what else to say just aweful and sadly I haven't been able to return it to get something else.

Two great stories for the price of one!
Revisado: 08-09-12
What made the experience of listening to Buckhorn Beginnings the most enjoyable?
How the author basically had two seperate stories under one cover was great.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Buckhorn Beginnings?
I'd say having a woman in a strictly man only zone left some pretty funny moments in the stories.
Which character – as performed by Isabelle Gordon – was your favorite?
I'd say Honey was my favorite character. I connected with her the most I guess because I'm just as suburn and independent as she is.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did listen to it all in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
I like the story line of these two stories. I will deffinately put more books from this author into my wish list to find out what happens to the other brothers to see what woman will come along to tame the rest of men under one roof. :D
