I have a very large audible library that ranges across all genres but rarely enjoy and avoid authors reading their own works. This is definitely an exception, hearing Allison tell her journey makes the listening an experience in its own right.

The Wild Journey to the Light details Allison’s journey including the raw emotions and feelings from some of the most challenging times in her life as well as what and how she was able to learn and grow along the way. Her courage and light is on full display not only in the details of her journey but in the strength it had to take to not only put these words on paper but to share them with the world. Her journey has not always been pretty during every step but how she is able to gain acceptance of her journey and take responsibility for her choices to ultimately learn and continue growing is inspiring. Instead of preaching advice or providing theoretical answers she uses her life (the good, the bad & the ugly) as an example of how all of us have to face our trauma, gain our own acceptance and learn to continue to grow and once we do you can become limitless and create whatever you want for your life. No matter what your story is and what challenges you face, Allison’s story and core concepts will connect and without effort she shows how universal these ideas and capabilities are within all us.

Side Note: I have known Alli for the last 5-6 years and even met “Alli-Sin” on a few occasion. I had the opportunity to see first hand how magical and special she is and watch her growth first hand. She is truly inspirational and seeing her manifest her dreams is beyond words.

** I was given this book free as part of a giveaway from Sound Booth Theater Live **

I listen to a lot of science fiction, fantasy and LitRPG but had skipped over this book until I won a free copy. I’m not sure if it was the cover art or the summary but for whatever reason it never made the cut.

The story concept is unique to the genre and the MC doesn’t fall into a the primary troupes of the genre. The book works as a stand alone novel but I am also eager to see where the story goes.

As always Will Watt and the rest of the Sound Booth team does a fantastic job bringing the story to life.

If you are a fan of SBT, LitRPG or Science Fiction you will find something to enjoy in this book don’t be thrown off by the cover art.
