a great listen
Revisado: 06-01-20
This is a great follow-up to Curse of the Ancients and a fun story all around. The western and supernatural elements work well together, and the sense of suspense from chapter to chapter really makes you want to keep going to find out what happens next. But what really makes this tale stand out are the characters and how they grow as the story progresses. The narrator also does a great job of bringing them to life. Looking forward to the next book in the Son of Earp series!

It's all about the characters
Revisado: 05-23-18
This is a cool western story with a supernatural twist, but it is really about the characters. The 19th century setting allows for two different perspectives, from the whites and from Native Americans. As the story unfolds, the curse is revealed through multiple points of view. The narrator does a good job of using different voices for different characters. An enjoyable listen.

Cool Story from a Versatile Author
Revisado: 05-14-18
This is a cool, character-driven tale about the people in Belford, New Jersey, a small town with tons of drama and family fueds. The level of detail in the characters and setting really puts you in the story. Set in 1987, it has a fun nostalgia to it as well. The narrator's dry delivery was a little weird at first but is actually perfect for reading so many different types of characters. Having only read Rosamilia's horror fiction before, I really enjoyed listening to this and hearing more of what the author has to offer.
