Possibly the beginning of a classic teen drama

A heartwrenching but wholesome start to Ushio, Sakuma and Hoshihara's journey. The terrible experience of coming out at high school isn't glased over, and Hachimoku-sensei seems willing to properly touch on gender dysphoria, but ultimately this is an optimistic story with friends trying to work out how to be kind to people facing problems they can't hope to understand properly
