Historia
This is the legend of Hafid, a camel boy 2,000 years ago, and his burning desire to improve his lowly position in life, as told to his apprentice Erasmus. Hafid relates the story of how he became known as the Greatest Salesman in the World. His success lies in the wisdom of ten leather scrolls passed down to him from his master, Pathros.

Inspirational!
Revisado: 08-25-12
I have had the book version sitting on my shelf for many years and have never got on with it. I read some of the reviews and thought I would give it a go and I am pleased I did. The story works so much better in audio and I really got into it but also got the serious learning messages too which were nothing new but soimehow they got me inspired to do them more often. I shall be listening to this one many times and dusting down the book too!!

Very enjoyable

I do not normally go for biographies but seeing this on a clients desk led me to search for it on audible. It was excellent and shows a balanced view of Steve Jobs the person.

Historia
In Made to Stick, Chip and Dan Heath reveal the anatomy of ideas that stick and explain ways to make ideas stickier, such as applying the human scale principle, using the Velcro Theory of Memory, and creating curiosity gaps. Along the way, we discover that sticky messages of all kinds—from the infamous “kidney theft ring” hoax to a coach’s lessons on sportsmanship to a vision for a new product at Sony—draw their power from the same six traits.

Disappointing
Revisado: 01-21-08
I am a big Covey fan and I was very disappointed with this work. It was no where need the standard of his previous works. I did not listen to more that 30 minutes as I got bored. I normally listen to audio books all the way through (and I normally go for the unabridged versions).

Historia
Just as we were getting used to the Information Age, Daniel Pink tells us that it is ending. With it goes our focus on charts, statistics, and linear thinking. Traditional "left-brain" activities, like logic, analysis, and repetitive production, are being turned over to robots, computers, and offshore labor. The valued skills of the 21st Century will be those of the right brain: empathy, design, synthesis, and contextual thinking.

Excellent
Revisado: 01-21-08
I had heard a lot about 'A whole new mind' by Daniel Pink. I avoided buying this one for a while as it was quite short and obviously not the complete book. I finally gave in and I am so glad I did. It is not only enlightening but it is also very amusing and motivational. I have listened to it several times which is quite unusual for me. I do hope Daniel Pink records the complete 'A whole new mind'

Wake me up when the book is over!
Revisado: 06-26-07
The author does nothing to inspire people to tell stories.
I am a great lover of stories and use them in business. I was looking forward to something that gave me new insights. Instead I was bored to tears. After 10 minutes it has still not got past the foreward and it did not get much better.
Contrast this with the wonderful book 'Made to Stick' which covered stories in a brilliant and new way.
This is the first time I have been inclined to write a review despite some real duds! If you want to learn more about stories then get 'Made to Stick' - unless you want something to help with insomnia!
