Enlightening Survey of Churchill's Life

Professor Fears is a gem. He lays out an captivating story of Churchill's boyhood through old age and all the fascinating events of his life in between. Professor Fears also brings Winston Churchill to life and rounds him out as a human being with weaknesses, events that molded his character, his artistic talents, and his love for making life better for his fellow man.

Beautifully Brings Russian History to Life

I thoroughly enjoyed the way Edward Rutherfurd wove the characters into a storyline spanning nearly 2000 years. The major historical events are iwoven through the lives of ordinary people in a way that adds color to the events and illustrates the effects on the people. I look forward to listening to other works by this author. Don't let the size (length) of this book stop you. The story is entertaining and keeps you involved in it... much like a mini series. Excellent narration too.

Wonderful Overview of the World

and how the nations and history are affected by geography. I thoroughly enjoyed this book's narration at 1.4 speed. Thought provoking and politically balanced. I highly recommend this tome.

Dennis prager does a beautiful job of illustrating and explaining the meaning of Genesis., giving insight to the nuances and difficult passages alike. Although I love Dennis' voice and radio program, Tom Parks does a wonderful job as the voice for the Audible version. I particularly enjoyed following along with the Bible while listening. Moving on to Dennis's Exodus commentary next and hoping to hear more from Dennis on the rest of the Torah.

Ben Shapiro uses logic, reason, and history to underscore the positive effects of Western Civilization on our world today. imIf you're on the political left I challenge you to see if you can refute his arguments. If you're on the right this will bolster your understanding and give you well thought out support for your beliefs.

Thorough & Compelling

Bernard Cornwell's Waterloo provides an inciteful look into the players, events, and idiosyncrasies that made Waterloo such a critical battle in world history. It is laced with colorful first hand accounts of participants, plenty of detail, and the important point that many events of the day were happening simultaneously, and any one or two decisions or some clarity at decisive moments could have easily changed the outcome. I enjoyed this work.

An Enlightening Look at US Foreign Policy
