The story was ok. I wasn’t as shocked as other reviewers were by the twist (although I was a little caught off guard by the first twist). The narration was hard to get through. I wasn’t a fan of either reader.

Loved…except the male narrator

This story was so so good! And the female narration was perfect—I wish she would have narrated the entire book. The male narrators voice just didn’t fit. I tried to be ok with it, but it just was not good.

Worth every bit of the credit & listen time

I was on the fence about this book. I had seen many people rave about it, but was completely hooked by the synopsis. I decided to just do it…and oh my lord, I’m glad that I did!!
I binge listened to this entire book in two days—that’s how hooked I was. There are so many pieces that seem predictable…only to completely be flipped on their head.
Honestly, I cannot say enough good this about this book. You will laugh & cry & even gasp. But i guarantee, what you won’t do, is regret listening.

I wanted to like it

I really wanted to like this, but just couldn’t get into the story. I purchased because I love almost anything narrated by Zachary Webber, but even he couldn’t save his. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the female narrator. I feel like Zachary reading the female part was more enjoyable. Overall, if you were on the fence about this one, I’d pass.

Wowowow. I tried, I really did. But I ended up skipping all the female narrated chapters & filling in the blanks Bc I couldn’t handle her narration. I love Connor Crais & the story was decent, but the Lacy Laurel and a deal breaker on this one.

I’m a sucker for Zachary Webber & Erin Mallon together so I grabbed this book. I fell IN LOVE with this book! It’s cute & funny & gives you all the feels. This is a great story & was narrated perfectly. I can’t say enough great things about this. Definitely worth the credit.
