New author, new adventure

I am not familiar with this author but decided to take a chance based on the narrators. I was pleasantly pleased with the storyline, banter, sex scenes; even the drama was tastefully extrapolated. I would read more from this author again!

Alexandria House has not disappointed me yet (and I doubt she ever will!) when it comes to writing a steamy, funny, endearing and relatable HEA. Drayveon and Stevie’s love story was told so beautifully from start to finish. Press play and fall in love with these awesome characters the way I did!

Love Spans The Test of Time

I didn’t know what to expect although I read the reviews prior to confining my purchase. This love story was raw, sweet, upsetting and triumphant and the narration bought it all together. The way August loved Iris reminded me that real love does span the test of time and that genuine connections can be instant & last forever. Another job well done, Kennedy!

After listening to this masterpiece that Kennedy Ryan has meticulously woven, I’m left speechless. I’m ignited by the purposeful storytelling and acknowledgment of: black artists that contributed to our history, genuine selfless love built on trust & intimacy, the vulnerability of compromised health and the power of forgiveness and family. There’s so many themes this story covers well, but, what I take away most is to make the most of your time on this side of eternity and never take anything for granted. I’m grateful to Kennedy for this reminder.

Nasir and that mouth!

This story wasn’t your traditional love story nor is it NSFW which I quickly learned, however, I enjoyed every minute of it while working on mundane PowerPoint presentations. Whew Chile, I wasn’t ready for Nasir and that filthy mouth was nothing to play with, lol. He knew what he wanted and went after it. Fellas, be more like Nasir and don’t sleep on the nerdy girls! Separately, I was happy to see DJ Joey from the book DND make a cameo.

Alexandra is becoming one of my faves

If Only for the Summer was a sweet love story. I loved to see positive co-parenting displayed and a black man knowing what he wanted from the gate! Guy didn’t mince words and the best part is he could back up everything he said. It’s always going to be the consistency for me. Finally, Wesleigh & Winston narrating was the icing on the cake.
