When black-ops specialist Jon Reznick receives a voice mail from FBI assistant director Martha Meyerstein, hoping to explore their relationship outside of the federal government, Jon starts to imagine a new future, one where he can leave his past behind. But an unhinged killer with a grudge has other plans. He’s setting a trap for Reznick, one he knows the operative won’t be able to resist. In a picturesque fishing village on the Mediterranean coast, a luxury yacht has gone up in flames. Was it a terrible accident or something much more sinister?

Foreboding...
Revisado: 02-04-21
I think the dialogue is one of the worst things about this book. Imagine two actors play out some of the dialog, made me laugh.. Spoiler alert! There are so many logic flaws to the story. The bad guy lives on the island for six months? And before that in Africa recruiting an underwater bomb expert I guess long before Martha even herself knows she will be on a yacht?
All of this to just poison him with booze? Just not worth the read! Not at all.

Why does the females sound like Data from sttng?
Revisado: 07-16-19
Overall action filled good book. But the narrator did not do a good job. He just tried to much to create many different voices. Annoying..

Historia
Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies—and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. Excellent book!
Revisado: 10-01-12
I think it was a very exciting book! Since it is based on actual events even more so. It was also intriguing to get to know the person behind the "World's most wanted hacker"-moniker.
This is of course seen from one side of the story so unbiased he is not! But an entertaining book with many stories of his feats.
You do not have to be a geek to enjoy this book, but once in a while it helps.
