Historia
At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

I'm a little dissapointed by the book as much as I love Blake Crouch. The idea is captivating but I had mixed feelings about where it all went.

The most brilliant book on physics
Revisado: 03-18-17
I just couldn't stop listening to this book. I am totally in love with the stories, narration, the view on history and physics evolvement.
May be it's because the author is an Italian? but his way of describing complex theories beautifully, poetically and sometimes metaphorically makes this book absolutely unique. I hope he'll continue writing.
Highly recommended!

In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Revisado: 03-18-17
I've been following Trevor since he became the host of the Daily Show. I love his intellectual, brilliant humour!
This book is much more than you would expect. Yes, lots of humour but also many deep thoughts and touching stories. He describes in detail his life in South Africa, also a lot about his mother.
Highly recommended!

Historia
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?

Funny book!
Revisado: 01-18-16
Aziz is amazing and I'm glad he narrates the book himself! Highly entertaining and funny. Sometimes I just laughed out loud in public.
Some of the experiments results were quite expected, not surprising. But the conclusions and interpretations were mostly wise and interesting. I'd totally recommend this book, especially the audible version because the author reads himself, and he is a stand-up comedian!

Historia
Sixty-six million years ago, an object the size of a city descended from space to crash into Earth, creating a devastating cataclysm that killed off the dinosaurs, along with three-quarters of the other species on the planet. What was its origin? In Dark Matter and the Dinosaurs, Lisa Randall proposes it was a comet that was dislodged from its orbit as the solar system passed through a disk of dark matter embedded in the Milky Way. In a sense it might have been dark matter that killed the dinosaurs.

Interesting but a bit challenging to listen
Revisado: 01-18-16
I'm fond of the author and the topic of astronomy and cosmology, though I'm a total amateur. I'm really grateful that there are books like this one and the opportunity to read/listen to professionals who explain particle physics, cosmology in simple words.
This book opened a lot of new horizons for me but I'd prefer now to read the actual book instead of listening. Some of material was too complex for me to follow in the audible format. The author refers often to a supportive pdf file but it was not accessible for me each time I listened.
I didn't enjoy the narrator too much as she sounded like a robot for me.
But hey, I notice I become spoiled. Overall, highly recommended for those interested! And better in print.

Historia
Anatta is the Buddhist teaching on the nonexistence of a permanent, independent self. It's a notoriously puzzling and elusive concept, usually leading to such questions as, "If I don't have a self, who's reading this sentence?" It's not that there's no self there, says Rodney Smith. It's just that the self that is reading this sentence is a configuration of elements that at one time did not exist and that at some point in the future will disperse.

A lot of questions answered!
Revisado: 12-30-15
I've always had a lot of questions that I couldn't find answers to, about notion of self in Buddhism, etc. This book addresses a lot of my doubts!
I would add though, that some of the concepts can be unusual for a unprepared reader. But I'm sure that anybody would find this book useful!
I wish only that the author himself narrated this book. For me the narrator sounded a little tired...
Otherwise a very profound book for anybody who is seeking spiritual growth.
