Historia
Cassie Forrest isn't surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

Great narration and a clever story. It's both exciting and easy to read. Highly recommend for zombie fans and dystopian fans. Not too scary or gory.

Excellent thriller

This book is fast paced, twisty and great. Love the narration and different POV's used to tell the story.

Incredible Series
Revisado: 12-29-24
Of all the One and Only books in the series this one was our favorite. The narrator was wonderful and captured Ivan's personality perfectly. The story was inspiring at some points and heartbreaking at others. Such a special series to help kids understand the complexity of human nature and our responsibility to our animal companions on this beautiful planet.

Historia
No electricity, no family, no connection to the outside world. For eight years, Cooper and his young daughter, Finch, have lived in isolation in a remote cabin in the northern Appalachian woods. And that's exactly the way Cooper wants it, because he's got a lot to hide. Finch has been raised on the books filling the cabin’s shelves and the beautiful but brutal code of life in the wilderness. But she’s starting to push back against the sheltered life Cooper has created for her - and he’s still haunted by the painful truth of what it took to get them there.

Historia
Dr. Ross Greene, a distinguished clinician and pioneer in the treatment of kids with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, has worked with thousands of explosive children, and he has good news: These kids aren’t attention-seeking, manipulative, or unmotivated, and their parents aren’t passive, permissive pushovers. Rather, explosive kids are lacking some crucial skills in the domains of flexibility/adaptability, frustration tolerance, and problem solving, and they require a different approach to parenting.

Crazy bad narration
Revisado: 01-30-20
This is a very important and informative book. That Narration was so terrible I almost couldn’t continue listening. The author should absolutely re-record this with a different narrator. I can’t imagine how many people missed out on all of the insights because they couldn’t listen to the robotic, miss pronounced, super annoying voice.
