It was written in hopes of simplifying the process for other parents and caregivers who are considering doing the same. The Montessori Method of education can best be described as an "Aid to Life" rather than a specific method of passing on academic objectives.

I love Montessori and have been trying to do some of my own lessons at home with my two year old. While other books are extremely informative about the philosophy, this book gives a few basic exercises with materials that can be used over and over.
