This was by far the worst of the series. Womens Murder Club was good but the other two were just fillers to get a whole book. I wish I could return this. Not good! Wish I had not wasted a valuable credit on Tim and Linette his one.

I consider this John Grisham’s best book and the narration. Very clever how he came up with all of the details. Amazing. Jeri was my hero. She set her mind to finding her dad’s killer and NEVER gave up. That’s a great message we should always hold on to….NEVER GIVE UP!

This book is so amazing. The dependence Kim Phuc put on our Lord and Savior is unspeakable. The salvation she received from our Lord was all due to her obedience to Him and total surrender. I want to listen to this again. Great narration.

It is so sad that there are so many innocent people in prison for a crime they did not commit. Thank our Lord Jesus Christ for this story and Guardian Ministries for they great work they do investigating and exonerating innocent people. John Grisham has opened my eyes to see the care and understanding for wrongful trials. God bless him.

What disappointed you about Uncommon Type?
I just don't understand why there has to be cursing. I love Tom Hanks, but gee, come on. I'm not at all perfect, but I read a lot of books that don't have anything as much cursing as this book. Returning it.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Never got there.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Tom Hanks is a great actor but not as a narrator. He is so monotone.

What made the experience of listening to Bonhoeffer the most enjoyable?
I really enjoyed reading about Bonhoeffer's life. It was very heartwarming for what he was trying to do for his country. It made me realize what an awful man Hitler was. I would have loved reading more and more.
