Historia
All is not well in the city that never sleeps. Even though the avatars of New York City have temporarily managed to stop the Woman in White from invading—and destroying the entire universe in the process—the mysterious capital "E" Enemy has more subtle powers at her disposal. A new candidate for mayor wielding the populist rhetoric of gentrification, xenophobia, and "law and order" may have what it takes to change the very nature of New York itself and take it down from the inside.

Very satisfying!
Revisado: 11-26-22
I’m very pleased with the story. It felt finished and the payoff at the end felt right. And Robin Mills is stellar talent. I’ll listen to any and alll of her work. She brings this story to life, perfect in every way.

Historia
Miryem is the daughter and granddaughter of moneylenders, but her father's inability to collect his debts has left his family on the edge of poverty - until Miryem takes matters into her own hands. Hardening her heart, the young woman sets out to claim what is owed and soon gains a reputation for being able to turn silver into gold. When an ill-advised boast draws the attention of the king of the Staryk - grim fey creatures who seem more ice than flesh - Miryem's fate, and that of two kingdoms, will be forever altered.

Fantastic story perfectly performed
Revisado: 05-10-19
It’s a traditional faerie tale but the author’s unique voice and take on the tropes gives it life. The language fits characters so well and makes the story feel both ancient and timeless.
The voice actor’s portrayal of each character was distinct but subtle, and the dialect choices were spot on. Such an enjoyable experience!
