Loving The Madaris Family!!!

Thank you Ms. Jackson for a gripping and compelling story of one of your grand literary families. I have often wondered about the early Madaris family members and this book did not disappoint in telling their story. Mama Laverne, as usual, brought the truth to every paragraph and person. I laughed, cried and angered over some of the antics of this family. Charlotte should have been "drawn and quartered" but there are even real people like her. Just an absolutely great story and Thanks again Ms. J.

A powerful series of stories in one. It was great to go back and visit Chaos and Resurrection. I couldn't stop the tears for Big Petey. KA always takes you on a journey and I love the way she writes, I would love to sit behind her eyes for a minute.

I Wasted So Much Time!

I purchased this book back in 2020 about two months after it was released! I for some unexplained reason was unable to settle on it and listen. This is 2024 and I just finished listening to a very amazing work by an amazing young leader. I was captivated by his story of family, life, struggle and love. I felt the love between each explanation of his father's commitment, his mother's sacrifice for family and his love for his wife and children. I wept when he lost the big state race, when he almost lost his wife and baby girl. I have always had a great respect for this young man but this book solidified all of my feelings for him and his history. I won't wait so long to read the next offering.

Loved Jaxon's Story!!

Thank you Ms. J for Jaxon's Story, wish Nadia wasn't so wishy washy, Thanks to her friend Risa for pointing her in the right direction. Enjoyed the book but thought it could have been a little deeper. But then Ms. Jackson is always so positive.

Worth the Wait!

KA is one of my favorite authors and this book proves that again. I have been waiting for Hale's story and KA did it justice. I thought I'd have to learn to like Elsa but she touched me right away. I don't do spoilers so that's all I will say. This book is worth the wait and the credit. Enjoy! Thanks again KA

Good Stories....

Each story started a little slow but picked up speed and turned into goodness. Name pronunciations were different for me but I got used to them as time went on, worth the listen.

Love Ms. Juanita!!!

I purchased this series by Ms. Williams on a whim and am so glad I did. This series is the first by this author, for me, and I am certain they won't be the last. I loved Juanita's journey to herself. I laughed out loud, cried and was pissed for her as she grew to meet herself each day. Jess was just so cool and supportive. I need a friend like Peaches!!!

A Brave New Start!!!!

I truly enjoyed this book and the narrator! There is not much more I can say without *spoilers*. Couldn't wait for the next book in this series and others by Ms. Williams.

BSJ Always!

As always BSJ weaves a great family story full of love and depth. This story was suspenseful and touching, I just wish Angela had gotten more of a comeuppance.
