Historia
If she wasn’t dead already, Delphie would be dying of embarrassment. Not only did she just die by choking on a microwaveable burger, but now she’s standing in her ‘shine like a star’ nightie in front of the hottest man she’s ever seen. And he’s smiling at her. As they start to chat, everything else becomes background noise. That is until someone comes running out of a door, yelling something about a huge mistake, and sends the dreamy stranger back down to earth. And here Delphie was thinking her luck might be different in the afterlife.

Loved It!
Revisado: 08-02-24
I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is a new author for me and narrator. I love the story plot, and the ending was beautiful. I laughed, I related to several instances and cried at the end. Narration was also beautiful as I love British accents and the way they annunciate words differently than Americans.

Love the Series but not new narrator
Revisado: 06-24-18
Love the story and progression of events throughout the first 5 books and how you can now see some inner-looping the of the story line from brief snip-its in earlier books. BUT it really didn't go over well when a new narrator came from out of nowhere! I struggled to keep up with the story because I felt as though she was not pronouncing the names of the characters correctly. I mean, I have listened to Marguerite Gavin pronounce names and places for 5 audio books now and really like her and the voices she does for all the characters, but suddenly there was a new person. I felt as though Gigi Bermingham was pronouncing so many things differently. While I am sure she is a great narrator overall and can land her own series, you just don't switch out the main character in the middle of a series. Glad Marguerite Gavin is back!!

Historia
Meet Zoe and Greg Milton, a married couple who have let themselves go a bit. Zoe was a stunner in her college days, but the intervening decades have added five stone, and removed most of her self-esteem. Greg's rugby-playing days are well and truly behind him, thanks to countless pints of beer and chicken curry. When Elise, a radio DJ and Zoe's best friend, tells them about a new competition, it seems like the perfect opportunity to turn their lives around.

Revisado: 06-26-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Most definitely!
What did you like best about this story?
Love British humor and their perspective on things.
What about Heather Wilds and Napoleon Ryan ’s performance did you like?
Like most British humor, they can throw out a comment that will make you roll laughing and say it so straight-forward. You definitely have to pay attention at times or you'll miss the whole thing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
If I could have, yes. But I don't have that much time in one sitting to do that.
Any additional comments?
So many things are gut-busting funny and are similar to experiences most of us have had at one time or another while dealing with the bulge and trying to lose weight. It hits so close to home but to hear someone else say what you might have been thinking or feeling is reassuring and knowing that you are not alone, well that feels pretty good.

Historia
It's not easy being queen bee of an underworld abuzz with crooks and killers. Wielding my potent Ice and Stone elemental magic will get me only so far - my real secret is my tight-knit makeshift family, a motley crew of cops and criminals, dwarves, and playboys. My foster brother, Finnegan Lane, is my right-hand man, but when his suddenly not-dead relative comes back into the picture, I'm the one on the outside looking in.

Love the Series!
Revisado: 06-26-17
Which character – as performed by Lauren Fortgang – was your favorite?
I love the way Finn sounds southern and whiny at times. She does a really good job with his character and voice.
Any additional comments?
Love the SERIES but this book seemed shorter than the others. I like the longer plot/story-lines but don't get me wrong, I still love it!

Historia
Reeve LeClaire is a college student, dammit, not Daryl Wayne Flint's victim. Not anymore-not when Reeve is finally recovering a life of her own after four years of captivity. Flint is safely locked up in Olshaker Psychiatric Hospital, where he belongs. He is walking the grounds of the forensic unit, performing his strange but apparently harmless rituals. It seems that he is still suffering the effects of the head injury he suffered in the car crash that freed Reeve seven years ago. Post-concussive syndrome, they call it.

If you could sum up What Doesn't Kill Her in three words, what would they be?
Revenge is SWEET!
What did you like best about this story?
Reggie's determination.
Which character – as performed by Christina Delaine – was your favorite?
Reggie
Any additional comments?
I felt like so many of the men shared the same voice, but I know it must be hard to do that many voices and still sound different. Otherwise, great plot and story-line.

What made the experience of listening to Oracles of Delphi Keep the most enjoyable?
The plot was well planned and the narrator was pleasant to listen to.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed the plot, entire story line and how all the characters intertwined. The ending left plenty of room for a sequel and I am looking forward to that one as well. The narrator did a great job with the character voices and expressions. Very enjoyable book.

Great story line
Revisado: 08-14-16
Story line was great but goes back and forth as to who the speaker was from chapter to chapter, but easy enough to figure it out once you knew all the characters. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator and look forward to a sequel.
