I'm not a big fan of long books, they have to be really good to keep my attention. After seeing all the reviews for this, I thought, why not. I liked the idea of the story, and still do, but it could have been half the length. Why say something once when you can say it 100 times. It was so repetitive and I wondered who had edited the book. So much could have been cut out.

*Spoiler here*
Do you really want to listen to a book where nothing really happens between them for about the first 15 hours? I don't mind a slow burn, but this took it to a whole new level.

Like what another reviewer said, I also don't get what all the fuss was about. It was too long.

However, having said that I did think Callie Dalton did a great job narrating it.

For me, I wouldn't purchase it and so glad I didn't have to as it was with audible escape. It will be returned quickly and never read again.

How is okay to rape a woman

I have a love hate relationship with these books. Parker hates Willow, okay fair enough, for whatever reasons, but then he sexually assaults her and she likes it, I don't get it. It is RAPE. Guys go to jail for that sort of thing, genital penetration is not the only way to rape a woman. Anything sexual that she doesn't ask for is sexual assault.

This book gives women a bad name, like if they like the guy even a little bit then it is okay for that guy to force himself on them and often in a degrading way. Just NO, NO, NO.

If you have ever been sexually assaulted, don't read this book, there could be a lot of triggers.

Worth the credit, no, I didn't get the book thinking I would be reading about rape.

OMG, she wants him, she doesn't want him, she gets jealous if he looks at another woman, she wants him again, oh but wait then she decides he isn't good enough, then he is, then she can't compete with the women he has been with in the past. She misses him in her life, but then she won't let him in. On and on and on it goes.

He is a rockstar, she was in a relationship with a rockstar who died, but she can't compete.

Rochelle is the most annoying type of character in a book. I hate her. I don't even know if I can finish the book. Why Dex keeps trying to prove to her that he wants her is beyond me. They are both pathetic in that respect. I find women like Rochelle the worse.

The narration is superb, of course it is. However, not even Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan can save this one for me.

Worth credit, absolutely not. I should have waited to see if it went onto Audible Escape.

Narration made it hard to listen to

It isn't very often that I listen to an audible book and think, I should have read it instead.

It is the case with this one. With only one narrator and there being three main characters, it was sometimes very hard to work out who was talking. Especially since it was never announced. You had to listen carefully and try to work out who it was. While the narrator had given the friend in the relationship a different voice sort of, the other two were very similar.

The story was interesting and intriguing as they go through their feelings and working out whether a relationship with three could work for them. Though at times it seemed more about the two males finding out how they felt about one or another. I thought Anna was bit left out in the beginning.

Worth the credit, not for me. I think if I want to go through the story again I will get the kindle version and read it.

If you are one of those readers that hates overly flowery writing, then you won't like this. I found it hard to keep stay tuned into it and the language used for the book was too much. Then again, I'm someone who hates the classics for the same reason, why say something with one word when you can use 10, nope not me, I really don't like that sort of writing.

It is a shame because I really wanted to try and listen to this, Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber, what a combination, love them both, but they couldn't save it for me.

I need to make sure I don't attempt any more books by A.L. Jackson which is disappointing, but when I start hating what I'm listening too, well, it doesn't work.

This was such a great story, once I started I couldn't stop listening to it. I laughed out loud so many times. The relationship between Storm and Stevie was so real if that is the right word. You could see it really happening. I love listening to them as their relationship developed and moved along. It wasn't the typical crazy sex fest that we usually get from rock stars. He was the one who was looking for a change. He found it. She was exactly what he needed.

The narrators were wonderful, of course, they always are. If I ever had the chance to date a rock star I would want him to sound like Jacob Morgan.

So worth the credit for me, definitely a keeper and one I know I will listen to over and over. Well done Samantha Towle, I need to go and see what else you have.

Loved Landon, her, not so much

I really looked forward to the release of this book, but I was let down while reading it. I thought the character of Landon was wonderful, he was caring and just wanted the best for Aubree. Her, I did not like her at all. I was so angry with her so many times. She belittled him, humiliated him and often made him feel like crap. Really if it were a real-life situation there would have been no HEA.

It was almost a DNF for me. Aubree was driving me crazy. I just hated seeing what she was doing to him. He was an absolute doll. He should have been the immature one being only 23, but really the immature one was her.

Narration, perfect. Who doesn't love listening to Jacob Morgan, I love the way he brings the male characters to life. Emma Wilder does have a more mature voice, which made her the perfect choice for Aubree. I won't hold it against her for how Bree was. I think the narrators are what got me through this.

Worth the credit, I don't know. I wanted to listen to it, but know I will never listen to it again. It is so disappointing when the rest of the series has been fantastic so far.

I wanted to love this story, but the way each of them continually said the same negative things over and over and over and over again drove me crazy. If they had taken out most of it, then the book would have only been a third long.

We got it so many times that they were all insecure and none of them thought it would work or continue. Really, well I did, I didn't need to be told it every other sentence. Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but not by much.

Tor Thom is a great narrator, but I do wish they would have different ones for the main characters.

For me, not worth the credit.

I first listened to this when it was part of audible escape. I wanted to listen to it again, but with the first book just over $5, and the following three being $10.99 each, that makes it almost $40 for around 13 hours. It is a rip off.

You can't even buy all of them together in a bundle. I hate it when books are like this. Especially when it is one story.

Worth the credits or money, no way.

I enjoyed the first in this series, especially with the male narration. So it seemed like a good idea to try the second. I did enjoy it and I thought it was a great follow up. I loved John Logan and thought Grace was perfect for him. I also tend to enjoy stories that are not your typical, they fall in love and then a few chapters from the end they break up or fall out and then get back together for their HEA. While this did have some of that, it wasn't like that. It was nice.

The thing I really didn't enjoy was the narration. I thought Lee Samuels was fantastic. I loved him as Logan and found him to be very believable. However, Lorelei Avalon just wasn't Grace for me. Perhaps part of the problem was listening to Ava Erickson as a college girl in another book and I think she would have been perfect for Grace. Every time a new chapter started I cringed when it was the female. I have to admit I'm glad she hasn't done the other two.

Worth the credit? Yeah, I think it was. I did like the story. For me, the sign of a great one, is would I go back and listen again? If it was a different female narrator I would love listening to it over and over, but sadly, I think this may be the only time I do.
