Refreshing and thought provoking

I know what you’re thinking: John Crist? Thought provoking? But this book, while still full of humor, digs deep into addiction, especially how social media and the drive for affirmations from your social media followers can wreck you as a person. John’s raw honesty about his struggles is real, it’s deep, and it makes you think hard about looking at who you are really, not who you portray yourself to be. You won’t regret listening to this one. Plus, John will make you laugh.

Worst narrator ever

I tolerated the other narrator for this series and then they go and switch to someone worse. I really want to finish this series, as the books are good, not great, but good. But I just can’t stand the narrator. Not this one.

I met Nik and his wife a few years ago at a conference in Nashville. I listened to his lecture and wept. I spoke to him afterwards and got this book for my husband. It has truly changed our lives. If you need to truly know that Jesus is alive, well, and working in the world, then read this book.
