Historia
One minute, down-and-out actor Lorenzo Smythe is, as usual, in a bar, drinking away his troubles while watching his career circle the drain. Then a space pilot buys him a drink, and the next thing Smythe knows, he’s shanghaied to Mars. Smythe suddenly finds himself agreeing to the most difficult role of his career: impersonating an important politician who has been kidnapped. Peace with the Martians is at stake, and failure to pull off the act could result in interplanetary war.

Historia
Furry fandom is a recent phenomenon, but anthropomorphism is an instinct hard-wired into the human mind: the desire to see animals on a more equal footing with people. It’s existed since the beginning of time in prehistoric cave paintings, ancient gods, and tribal rituals. It lives on today - not just in the sports mascots and cartoon characters we see everywhere, but in stage plays, art galleries, serious literature, performance art, and among furry fans who bring their make-believe characters to life.

The book is great an well put together! But,
Revisado: 08-30-21
I am going to start off with the good, The book is amazing, well structured and very informative. I earned a good amount from listening to it.
Unfortunately the performance is where this falls through. I don't know how exactly you record the lines for books on audible so take that into account when reading this. The readers voice is clear and easy to understand but the reader miss pronounces serval things. This does include names and things not derived in English, for example Kage, so some allowances should be made. Unformal that isn't the main thing that hurt the score so much. The main sticking point for me are the times thought the book where the reader stops when reading and takes a line again. Redoing a line to get a better read is good and necessary but having to hear both takes makes it feel unfinished and is a bit jarring.

Historia
Without John C. Houbolt, a mid-level engineer at NASA, Apollo 11 would never have made it to the moon. Top NASA engineers on the project, including Werner Von Braun, strongly advocated for a single, huge spacecraft to travel to the moon, land, and return to Earth. It's the scenario used in 1950s cartoons and horror movies about traveling to outer space. Houbolt had another idea: Lunar Orbit Rendezvous. LOR would link two spacecraft in orbit while the crafts were travelling at 3,600 miles an hour around the moon. His plan was ridiculed and considered unthinkable.

I had never heard about this story and I have studied the moon missions. The fact that more dont know about this is a shame. If you like history, science, and space you owe it to your self to listen to this program.

“They’ve put Kaz on trial for the murders!” cried Aziz. “They’re going to execute her as the killer!” Tori shook her head in an attempt to wake more fully. “What? No. That’s a mistake. Kaz wouldn’t harm an insect. There’s no way a court could find her guilty.” “The krakun legal system doesn’t give a damn. They find everyone guilty!” Their first-ever serial killer is stalking the crew, and though the Reaper’s Harvest III is a high-tech starship, Tori has no access to any forensic science. She needs to think of a new way to solve the crimes...fast!

Revisado: 07-26-19
Reaper’s Lottery is an impossible to put down science fiction, mystery, thriller. You enter into the world of a Geroo generational ship where you get to follow Tori as her normal life changes around her.
I would absolutely recommend this if you enjoy science fiction, mysteries, and thrillers. On only rare occasions did our world managed to drag me, fighting all the way, out of the fascinating and immersive world and story contained within this books’ pages/audio files.

Historia
It's just a small story really, about, among other things, a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery. Set during World War II in Germany, Markus Zusak's groundbreaking new novel is the story of Liesel Meminger, a foster girl living outside of Munich. Liesel scratches out a meager existence for herself by stealing when she encounters something she can't resist: books.

Historia
Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

An excellent and enjoyable story and reading. As a fan of science fiction in addition to being an avid fan of Star Trek I loved the story and ideas in it. The performance was also excellent. Now, this has put me in a creative mood. Time to write something while dodging the Captian, wouldn't want to be on an away mission with a red shirt on now would I.
Remember that in life the sky is the limit. (Couldn't resist the last of the three references. Sorry)
