Historia
Stephen M.R. Covey has made it his life’s work to understand trust in leadership and organizations. In his newest and most transformative book, Trust and Inspire, he offers a simple yet bold solution: to shift from this “command and control” model to a leadership style of “trust and inspire.” People don’t want to be managed; they want to be led. Trust and Inspire is a new way of leading that starts with the belief that people are creative, collaborative, and full of potential.

You know what’s amazing to me is how some will read the same book and some will see it as possibly a work of art while other will review it as not worth the paper it was printed on. To me the material stuck a cord with me. I thoroughly enjoy the information and the way it was presented.
When a person can really trust another person knowing they have their best interest at heart, it’s an inspiration. It compels one to want to not disappoint that individual in any way. This is just one of the things the book expound upon. Well written book. Recommended

What an amazing reading. As I started reading this material the initial question prompted me to meet with my accountability brother. During our conversation I asked him the question, “if the enemy wanted to take you out, how would he do it?”
This book divided us into sessions to help you know the enemy tactics and ways to arm yourself against these traps. We have a villain that desires to drag us down into dark areas devoid of God’s light.
If you know how the enemy would setup schemes to take you out, what are you doing about it? This book provides some awesome tools to help navigate you through this minefield. Recommended.

This is a different type of book. It’s more like a sets of stories compiled together. It’s good and a lot of wisdom shared from Dr Myles and others. It’s not your typical Myles Munroe book, but still worth reading. There’s a lot of hidden gems within.

What an amazing well written book. The transparency of this material was superb. The way it was written as one determined to prove this Jesus the Christ guys did not have enough evidence to support the claim. But really diligently seeking from pillars in the faith if these claims are true or not. This nearly two year journey lead the author to one conclusion and based on the evidence this God-man, Jesus Christ, is truly the Son of the living God. Highly recommended digesting the book methodically pausing from time to time to jot down notes.

Historia
We all live at the mercy of our ideas, and nowhere is this more true than our ideas about God. The problem is many of our ideas about God are wrong. Not all wrong, but wrong enough to form our souls in detrimental and disheartening ways. God Has a Name is a simple yet profound guide to understanding God in a new light--focusing on what God says about himself in the Bible. This one shift has the potential to radically alter how you relate to God, not as a doctrine, but as a relational being who responds to you in an elastic, back-and-forth way.

Historia
We are constantly being formed by the world around us. To be formed by Jesus will require us to become his apprentice. To live by what the first Christian disciples called a Rule of Life—a set of practices and relational rhythms that slow us down and open up space in our daily lives for God to do what only God can do—transforms the deepest parts of us to become like him. This introduction to spiritual formation is full of John Mark Comer’s trademark mix of theological substance and cultural insight as well as practical wisdom on developing your own Rule of Life.

Fantastic
Revisado: 11-28-24
What if we, followers of Jesus, actually did (mimicked) everything He did? In the apostle Paul’s 1st letter to Corinth he said, “imitate me as I imitate Christ” (11:1). Do we, Christ followers, practice being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus and/or doing as Jesus did?
This book makes one ponder and reflect about living the way Jesus did. The enjoyed the analogy of an apprentice. The objective of the apprentice is to eventually to do, perform, the tasks of his/her apprenticeship. Salvation is the costly gift God has made available to all who put their complete trust in Him. But is that all there is to living for Him?
Is our lives being transformed for the glory of God and the benefit of others? Have you shared your story of transformation to others? Does your life draw others to the transformative love of Jesus? When someone see how you live your life, will they see attributes of Jesus or not? Will they declare what Acts 4:13 states: “When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 NET

What a way to shock your “world” and step into someone else else’s life completely different than the way you accustom to “doing” life. Live with the Monks and the Amish.
How many preconceived notions do you have about others that don’t do life like you? The chapters that stuck me the most were wonder, notice, savor, behold and I offended. Wow. What an incredible way to walk in someone’s “shoes” intentionally seek to travel the life differently on purpose.
Awesome material. Thanks for sharing your heart and this journey with me, your friend, the read. Well done. I applaud you Sir Carlos. Well done indeed.
