I enjoyed this immersive journey of dance, having restarted dance in adulthood myself. The story was comprehensive, informative, and full of new insights to the world of ballet. My only qualm is that the author interrupts herself a lot, which can be distracting. Overall, a good read though.

The Adventure of a Lifetime

This book was surprising in the best of ways! I knew I was in for a lot of entertaining scenes, but the amount of plot twists was unreal. I wish I could read this book again for the first time but I’d be just as happy with a movie version.

Beautiful Sequel

This follow up story for Aristotle and Dante absolutely hit it out of the park! I loved how the book discussed the AIDS crisis and all of the views that affected queer youth back then. The story focused on love above all else, whether it be familial, romantic, or self - I needed that. This book did not disappoint and if you love the first one, please read this❤️

Fun, Sexy, and Full of Math

This book really surprised me. I wasn’t too sure that I would buy into the story line of soulmates being found by genetic algorithms, but this story was riveting. I enjoyed the intellectual material just as much as the emotional. The characters are written so honestly that I felt like I could go down to San Diego and find them myself. A must read for anyone interested in falling in love at unlikely points in their life.

New Favorite Book

I loved this book equally as much as, if not more than, the first book “The Trouble With Hating You.” The author’s details and playful metaphors are as captivating as the story. Sajni Patel writes strong female characters, who are vulnerable and deeply relatable. The women in her books make me feel okay to be me, and that’s her magic. Performance by Soneela Nankani was a 10/10 for this book. Will definitely be listening to more soon.

Surprisingly Beautiful

Funny, emotional, and riveting. Rob Lowe has explained so many parts of his life I never would have believed if someone else told me. This book offers the kind of perspective I needed in 2021, 10 years after he wrote it. Great book.

Beautifully Told

I loved the reading of this book. The characters were beautifully portrayed, even when sped up to nearly double the normal pace. Perspectives switched every once in a while but never in a distracting way.

Insightful and Divisive

I thought Ali and her husband did a beautiful job of being honest about how complicated life is. You never know how your plans will change or what you’re going to learn, but listening to their stories gave me a sense of peace that everything happens for a reason. This book was a great listen and helped me shift my world view on many topics.
