Don't be fooled by the shiny title, "Essential Business Vocabulary: Build Your Business Lingo." This book should be re-titled "127 Ways to Make Your Eyes Glaze Over and Question Your Career Choices." Here's why:

The writing style is about as exciting as watching paint dry (and trust me, I've spent some long afternoons observing that fascinating process). There are dry definitions, zero context, and absolutely no spark to make you actually want to learn these terms.

The Only Fun I Had Was Making Up Ridiculous Sentences: Okay, maybe "fun" is subjective, but this book was about as enjoyable as a root canal. I only found amusement in trying to string the vocabulary words together into nonsensical sentences. "The CEO synergized the paradigm shift of the market leverage, resulting in a paradigm shift of profits." See? Hilarious, right?
