Luther had a very strong personality, I have heard other female actors who have strong personalities.
This actress did not.

If you read this book, you can almost hear
Martin Luther’s passion, he was very passionate about everything, especially this subject.

This was a time when the Roman Catholic Church burned Reformers.
There was a good reason for his passion.

For example when I hear a small guy with a gentle voice read the Manuscripts of Charles Spurgeon: it is the same.
Spurgeon was a big guy with a big voice, who was very passionate about being a tool for God in saving souls. A voice actor with passion & big lungs needs to read his manuscripts and books.

There are obvious errors in updating the translation!

I love the ability to listen to the Bible, but there are obvious errors in this translation update.

Here the text is talking about those engaged (historic context), not a virgin daughter as the audio states. All the person updating the translation had to do was do an internet search.

(1 Cor. 7 re: Virgin)

“Now concerning virgins, I have no command of the Lord, but I am offering direction as one who by the mercy of the Lord is trustworthy. I think, then, that this is good in view of the present distress, that it is good for a man to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be released. Are you released from a wife? Do not seek a wife”. (1 Cor. 7:25-27; original un-updated 1995 Translation)

ESV Commentary “1 Cor. 7:25–40 The Betrothed and Widows. Paul now turns to those eligible for marriage and discusses the advisability of marriage in times of distress.
1 Cor. 7:25 the betrothed. This translates the Greek term for “virgins” (plural of parthenos). Although the term could apply to either men or women, it most often applied to women of marriageable age who had never married. Paul’s use of the term in v. 28 is clearly feminine, so he probably has women in mind here as well. In light of what he says later in vv. 36–38, it seems clear that his comments in vv. 25–26 are directed to any man who has promised to marry a “virgin.”

I have read many books such as ‘All of Salhah’s men’ that
Promoted the CIA as the only reason for the ouster of Mosadeg.

It delivered another view, that seems more accurate.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Complete Audio Holy Bible to be better than the print version?

The Audio copy provides me with the opportunity to hear the Bible when I can't read.

What other book might you compare The Complete Audio Holy Bible to and why?

None, the Bible is like no other book.

What does Dale McConanchie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The purpose of the purchase for me is that it provides me with the opportunity to hear the Bible when I can't read.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of the Bible is inspired by God and it brings me peace and joy. Not peace and joy that is of this world.
