Great reading of Art of War

I read The Art of War many years ago, and somewhat remembered the lessons that came from it. I quite enjoyed listening to Aiden Gillen read it. I feel like I retained quite a bit of what Sun Tzu relays to us, and Mr. Gillen's narration allowed clear and easy listening.

Strangely Enjoyable

You know, it's a little funny to read some of the poor reviews on here. The narrators/actors did such a great job in this. I literally cannot figure out which one is Kit Harrington. Do readers/listeners realize how hard that is to pull off as an actor? I spent high school in old school theater productions, and this is such a fun little play based on dialogue. Traditional theater is not a book, nor is it a movie. The story creates such curiosity about these two brothers, how they came to the points they are at both individually and together, about their upbringing, their mother. I also saw a note that the two brothers are sometimes indistinguishable. They're brothers. They should sound similar. It'd be fun to see this live.

Hanks didn't Disappoint

I absolutely love Tom Hanks as a person, and I love his voice. He could read me a phone book. But we all wonder when a celebrity ventures into another field, whether it will be as incredible. Hanks didn't let me down. His stories are funny, heartbreaking, enjoyable, and easy to relate to. I loved the group wtih Anna and M-Dash, they left me laughing consistently. The story of the time traveler broke my heart, as did the story of the teenage surfer. I want to listen again and again!
