Historia
When I went to my neighbor's apartment to investigate strange sounds, I never expected to fall through a portal into another world. Yet here I am, a stranger in an even stranger land...and I'm stranded. In this world, might makes right, men carry swords, and gods walk the earth. Within minutes of arriving, I'm enslaved. The one person that might be able to help me is also the one person I want to throttle most. Aron, Lord of Storms, Butcher God of Battle, is my new companion. Or rather, I'm his.

Delightfully different from her other series
Revisado: 04-19-25
I love Ruby Dixon books and leverage her stories as palette cleansers when I don’t know what to pick up. That was and wasn’t what I got here. This LONG audio book was AMAZING. Very ‘Yankee in King Arthur’s Court’ with a fun journey and an expected ending in an unexpected way.
The banter had me laughing out loud along with the FMC’s Earth / cult classic references.
There weren’t any cringy moments or decisions.
The narrator was good. I gave that a 4/5 since i always love duet style more.

Historia
The elves come for two things: war and wives. In both cases, they come for death. Three-thousand years ago, humans were hunted by powerful races with wild magic until the treaty was formed. Now, for centuries, the elves have taken a young woman from Luella's village to be their Human Queen. To be chosen is seen as a mark of death by the townsfolk. A mark nineteen-year-old Luella is grateful to have escaped as a girl. Instead, she's dedicated her life to studying herbology and becoming the town's only healer. That is, until the Elf King unexpectedly arrives... for her.

Perfectly satiates your book slump from ACOTAR
Revisado: 04-14-25
Loved this one and done story that leverages similar feelings and themes of ACOTAR but with a different storyline. The romance is a slow burn and the transition from enemies to lovers is well done and believable.
What you’ll get:
- strong FMC who doesn’t annoy you with questionable choices or miscommunication.
- MMC and FMC have great and believable character growth
- easy to understand magic system
- magical mystery
- 1 chili pepper and not explicit mostly fade to black bedroom scenes.
- still worth it if you love spicy stuff, the romance part is that good.
- touch her and die - literally
- forced proximity
- one bed scenario late in the book
- Graphic Audio actors and arrangement were well chosen and executed ‘Brava’ and ‘Bravo’!

Historia
The three va Sithai brothers - that's us - cruise the universe looking for abandoned ships, treasure, and other pirate ships to rob. Right now, we're on the hunt for the Buoyant Star, an abandoned cruiser rumored to have a massive treasure inside. The ship's been found at the edge of an ice field at the far reaches of space. That treasure? About to be all ours. But the ship's not all that abandoned. The Star is crewed by a few lonely, attractive human females who are thoroughly grateful at being rescued. Actually, wait. They're not grateful at all.

Keffing hilarious
Revisado: 03-26-25
Gotta say this is my favorite book in this universe so far and I’ve read quite a few of the Ice plant series. I was laughing out loud more than once. It’s a good time, don’t think too hard. ;)
