I’m so happy to have this author. I don’t like many female authors because they spend too much time describing what everyone is wearing and all their meals but not KS. So good. Well written and no fluff. Thank you!!

No one would have thought what happened was wrong. This is idiot liberal politics at its worst. Poor perpetrator. This woman would have been a hero and no one outside of New York City or las Angeles would have blinked an eye. We’re now getting to see what happens when we protect the villains and attack and soak the law abiding citizens for every dime they own. I’ve quit voting blue for this exact thing.

Ended up dumb as hell. Not impressed at all. I love Michael Connelly and these books but this was just terrible. The rest of the Private books I've read so far have been great...pick any other one.

I don't bother often with reviews, BUT....

This book is such a wonderful story about Michelle's life; from growing up on the Southside of Chicago to the day they left the white house.
This book is so well written and so incredibly well read by the author. I don't care about politics and I don't believe in many of the types of people that would run for major office but I'm so appreciative of all that this family did for us as a country. Their attempts to get us all health care (what remains of what the Republicans let through the house isn't all that great, but they tried) Their perseverance through an obstructionist Congress was a testament to their patience and tenacity.
You do not have to enjoy or care about politics to enjoy this book. Honestly I can't imagine someone not enjoying it.

fantastic book. I'm so glad the dems are finally fighting back. cute and if you know the back story (John Oliver has a good explanation) it's just GREAT!!
