No great revelations. There are a few tidbits of interesting history or insights but in the end I felt like although not a complete waste of time I could have found a better use of my time with a bit more searching for something like maybe an autobiography or the history of frying pans.

What disappointed you about Existence?
I've listened to several hundred audio books and there have been more than a few that took a number of chapters to begin to bring a story together .... never got there with this book. Would not recommend it.
What could David Brin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Would you listen to The Broken Eye again? Why?
The plot thickened in book 2 and the follow-thru in book 3 with new revelations was great .... where's book 4?!
What about Simon Vance’s performance did you like?
Simon Vance's range and characterizations were very good ... I'd put him in the top quartile as a audio book performer.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The book builds from start to finish but the last 10-15 chapters really open up the story line for some interesting possibilities for the characters.
